Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Are you an experienced and responsible Higher Level Teaching Assistant looking to help some of the most vulnerable young people in Bristol? Are you confident and wanting to find your next influential role?
Affinity Workforce Solutions are partnered with a local trust, looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a unique, passionate team who are supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
This role includes working with students of a variety of ages and providing the whole curriculum to the young people both in the classroom and outreach work within the community and local schools.
What You Will Be Doing
- Delivering planned learning activities to small groups or individuals both onsite and in outreach environments
- Leading enrichment sessions and supporting the curriculum delivery
- Acting as a key adult for the pupils, building strong, trusting relationships and displaying positive and encouraging behaviour
- Working collaboratively with teachers, mentors and external professionals

Required From You
- HLTA status or equivalent (Highly Experienced Teaching Assistant)
- A full UK driving licence, access to a vehicle and business insurance
- Experience working with young people with SEMH needs
- A passion for helping young people
- A calm, empathetic approach to behaviour and communication
- Valid Enhanced DBS
- A positive and can-do attitude
- Right to Work in the UK

Salary: £100 to £128 Daily +
