The school is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate team player to take on this short-term opportunity, with the exciting potential for it to develop into a long-term placement for the right SEND Learning Support Assistant. The successful candidate will bring fresh energy, creativity, and adaptability to the role, while being eager to develop their own skill set to meet each child s individual needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a genuine, lasting impact not just on individual pupils, but across the wider school community.

The role will involve working with students across all Key Stages, supporting pupils with diagnoses including Autism / ASD, SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties), SEMH, and challenging behaviours. A proactive, confident, and resilient approach is essential, with the ability to think on your feet and manage situations calmly and effectively.

The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will have:
• Experience working with children with additional needs and/or disabilities
• Experience supporting students with SEMH needs and challenging behaviours
• A Level 3 TA qualification (or equivalent)
• Team-Teach or MAPA qualifications (desirable but not essential)
