TeacherActive is recruiting a Primary Teaching Assistant for an Outstanding primary school in Bristol. This 1-year fixed term role is ideal for graduates in Psychology, Education, Childhood Studies, Criminology, Sociology, or related degrees looking to gain classroom experience before undertaking a PGCE or teacher training.

The Role:

• Classroom support across the primary age range

• 1:1 and small-group interventions

• Supporting pupils with SEND and additional needs

• Working closely with class teachers in a nurturing, inclusive setting

Ideal for:

• Graduates considering a PGCE / teacher training

• Psychology, Education, Childhood Studies, Sociology or Criminology graduates

• Experienced or aspiring Teaching Assistants

Requirements:

• Experience working with children (school, nursery or similar setting)

• Patient, proactive and enthusiastic approach
