Southrop C of E Primary School is seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with an EHCP.
This is a fixed-term position for the duration of the pupil’s time at the school.
The successful candidate will:
Support the pupil’s learning and development under the guidance of the class teacher,
Organise and prepare resources for creative and classroom activities
Be able to communicate using Makaton signing.
Guide and support the pupil using an understanding of differing levels of development and ability
Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills
Show a nurturing, positive and supportive approach
Be enthusiastic, hardworking, patient, caring and self-motivated
This is a varied and rewarding role working term time plus INSET days.
