St David’s CofE Primary School is looking for a Teaching Assistant to join our school team and support pupil learning in class.
The successful candidate will:
- Have the ability to build supportive relationships with children providing the necessary guidance and instruction to help pupils grow towards achieving their full potential
- Be patient and have a positive attitude
- Have strong behaviour management skills and a variety of behaviour management strategies
- Be enthusiastic and willing to contribute to the busy life of the school
- Experience of working with children who have cognition and learning needs
- Be supportive of the Christian ethos of the school
The post is offered as a salary of Grade 3 Point 5-6 (depending on the candidate) on a permanent basis. This post begins on 1 September 2026.
This is a full-time post for 27 hours a week. The working pattern is Monday-Friday, 8.40am-3.15pm.
