Class People are working closely with schools across Stroud to recruit experienced Teaching Assistants who can provide confident, consistent support in the classroom.

If you’re an established TA who understands school routines, can build strong relationships with pupils, and enjoys being a reliable part of a school team, this could be a great next step.

The Role

As an experienced Teaching Assistant, you may:

Support pupils in lessons, either 1:1 or in small groups

Assist with learning activities and classroom organisation

Provide targeted support for pupils with SEND or emotional needs

Help manage behaviour and promote positive engagement

Work closely with teachers and support staff to maintain a calm, inclusive environment

Opportunities are available on a supply, short-term and longer-term basis.

Who We’re Looking For

This role may suit you if you:

Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant

Are confident adapting to different classrooms and age groups

Are patient, reliable and proactive

Communicate well and work effectively as part of a team
