Hours: 20 Hours SEN Teaching Assistant role will be paid on a Grade 5 points 11-14 (£28,142-£29,540 per annum pro rata)
5 Hours: MDSA role will be 5 hours per week on a Grade 2 point 4 (£25,185 per annum pro rata).
Foxmoor Primary School is seeking a caring, dedicated and enthusiastic SEND 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our team on a part-time, mornings-only basis.
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and who can help a pupil access learning, develop confidence and thrive within our inclusive school community.
The successful candidate will:
• Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
• Work closely with class teachers, the SENDCo and external agencies.
• Support the pupil’s academic, social and emotional development.
• Help create a positive, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
• Build strong relationships with children, staff and families.
We are looking for someone who:
• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Is patient, flexible and committed to helping children succeed.
• Can work effectively as part of a team.
• Has previous experience of working with children with SEND (preferred).
• Demonstrates a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Contract Details
• Part-time position – mornings only (exact hours to be confirmed).
• Temporary contract until 31 July 2027.
• This position may become permanent for the right candidate.
• Start date: As soon as possible.
