Randwick Church of England Primary School is a small, friendly village school at the heart of the Stroud community. Guided by our Christian vision of Hands, Feet and Hearts that make a difference, we provide a nurturing and inclusive environment where children are happy, confident and keen to learn.

We are seeking to appoint a Grade 3 Teaching Assistant on a fixed term contract, working 25 hours per week, including lunchtime supervision. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to support teaching and learning across the school, helping pupils to engage positively with their learning and to thrive both academically and socially.

You will help create a calm, safe and stimulating learning environment, support pupils with routines and transitions, and contribute to positive behaviour strategies in line with school policies.

Experience of working in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) would be particularly welcome, as the role will include supporting younger pupils and helping to foster strong foundations for learning through play based and practical approaches.

We are looking for someone who:
• Enjoys working with children and has a warm, nurturing approach
• Can build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
• Has good literacy, numeracy and ICT skills
• Works well as part of a team and is flexible and proactive
• Is committed to safeguarding, equality and pupil wellbeing

Previous experience in a school or educational setting would be an advantage, though training and support will be provided for the right candidate. A willingness to uphold and contribute to the Christian ethos and wider life of Randwick C of E Primary School is essential.

In return, we offer a supportive and welcoming staff team, well behaved and enthusiastic pupils, and the opportunity to make a real difference in a small school where everyone is known and valued.
