We are looking to employ a confident and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated and hardworking team.
The hours are 8:45am-3:15pm, Monday to Friday (term-time only).
The contract is fixed term until August 31st 2027, however it is linked to the EHCP, therefore if the child’s level of support changes or the child leaves the school the contract will be amended accordingly.
We would like to appoint a team player, who will support the ethos and core values of the school and who:
- Preferably has a relevant Level 3 qualification
- Has experience of working with children with EHCPs in a classroom environment
- Is committed and passionate about giving our learners the best possible start in their education
- Has experience of working with pupils with additional needs & My Plans/EHCPs
- Is able to provide consistent routines and boundaries
- Is resilient, adaptive and reflective in their approach
- Is able to adapt resources and lessons to support individual needs
-Has a great sense of humour!

Appointments to the school are made with reference to the latest safeguarding guidance and Keeping Children Safe in Education and will involve additional safeguarding checks including DBS checks, references and exemption from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974). Furthermore, the school may conduct online searches of publicly available information as part of due diligence with shortlisted applicants.
