Factory Operative
Tewkesbury
Factory Operatives required in Tewkesbury, working within a factory environment. Monday to Friday, rotating shifts (06:30-14:30 /14:30-22:30), paying £12.21 per hour, with a temp-to-perm opportunity.
Are you an experienced factory or warehouse operative with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn? Pertemps are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company based in Tewkesbury. The Role
As a Warehouse Operative, you will be working within a busy factory environment supporting a range of production processes. The roles are varied and will involve operating automated lines and/or advanced machinery while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working on an automated/automotive production line
- Operating and assisting with high-tech equipment, including CNC machines and laser imaging machinery
- Running and monitoring production lines to ensure smooth operation
- Handling components and materials within a factory environment
- Working safely around chemicals, following strict health & safety procedures
- Carrying out quality checks and addressing basic production issues
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
Candidate Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate a positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in a production environment.
- Previous factory or manufacturing experience is essential
- A good working attitude with a strong willingness to learn
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong understanding of health & safety
- Ability to problem-solve and work effectively under pressure
- Comfortable working around machinery and chemicals
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
