Deeside
Position: Rigger (Contract)
Location: Deeside, UK
Duration: end of November 2025
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: £35.00 per hour
Working hours 4pm to 1:30 am 45 hours per week Monday to Friday
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Rigger to join a major engineering construction project in Deeside on a 5-6-month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for lifting, moving, and securing heavy equipment, plant and materials, ensuring all operations are carried out safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out rigging, lifting, and hoisting operations in line with industry standards and safety regulations.
* Inspect and maintain lifting gear, slings, shackles, and other rigging equipment.
* Work closely with crane operators and site teams to ensure safe and precise lifting.
* Read and interpret lifting plans, blueprints, and method statements.
* Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Requirements:
* Valid Rigger Certification (CSCS Gold Card / NVQ Moving Loads )
* Experience working on engineering or construction projects
* Strong knowledge of lifting techniques, equipment, and safety procedures
* Ability to work at heights and in challenging environments
