Personal and Professional Development Coach

We are looking to employ a Careers Coach who is passionate about guiding young people towards a brighter future. The focus in this role is to ensure that current and future students receive a first-class experience that enables them to progress and attain their qualifications and to develop long-lasting learning and employability skills. Success is measured in terms of meaningful progression in education and training and destination into further education and/or employment.
You will work closely with the Head of curriculum to initiate a holistic and inclusive programme encompassing Personal Development and Careers, and be responsible for:
- The design, implementation, and delivery of an ambitious program of Personal, Professional and careers education programme (encompassing PSHE) that supports the intent for all students to develop the skills that enable them to make informed decisions about their education, training, and employment in line with the Gatsby Benchmarks
- Provide students with experiences and opportunities to develop employability skills and become effective employees and citizens of the future.
- Provide high quality and timely Careers Education Information Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) to unlock potential and improve outcomes for all students.
- To be responsible for analysing the existing curriculum and drawing up improvement plans
- Providing training and mentoring to members of teaching staff
A comprehensive knowledge and understanding of national and local careers standards are also beneficial.
Your pay will increase on the completion of the Level 4 (a Careers, Information & Guidance qualification) and again if you undertake the Level 6.
You will need to be safeguarding trained and to be able to fully understand the reporting process if you identify safeguarding concerns.

Salary: £24,375 rising to £26,325 (dependent upon experience)
