Description: Are you ready to turn your passion for barbering into a rewarding part-time teaching role?

Gloucestershire College is looking for a skilled Barber to join our team as a part-time Trainer in Barbering, teaching just 4 hours per week. It’s a great opportunity to share your expertise and inspire the next generation of barbers in a supportive college environment.

You’ll be part of the Customer Service Industries school, which includes Hair and Beauty alongside Hospitality and Catering, across three campuses. The college prides itself on excellent industry connections and facilities like professional salons, offering a mix of practical, theory, and real client sessions from Level 1 to 3. If you want to blend your barber skills with teaching in a dynamic setting, this could be the perfect fit!

Key details:

Hours may include some evenings and will be discussed in more detail at interview stage
The successful candidate would be required to complete their Level 3 Teaching qualification within their first year of employment, and their Level 3 Assessors qualification within their second year of employment if they do not already hold either of these qualifications (with support from us! )
Salary: £30,633.36 - £34,439.00 pro rata’d. (Actual £3,311.77 - £3,723.20 per annum)
