HGV Class 1 Driver
Gloucester
We are urgently seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 driver to provide ongoing cover for our client based in Gloucester. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver looking for consistent weekday work with a reputable logistics company.
Role Details:
- Position: HGV Class 1 Driver
- Schedule: Monday to Friday (ongoing)
- Start Time: 10:00am
- Finish Time: 18:00pm
- Location: Gloucester
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out safe and efficient delivery and collection of goods across the local area.
- Complete all relevant delivery documentation accurately and promptly.
- Use your own device for route navigation and delivery updates.
- Handle goods with care - some collections may involve handballing.
- Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach at all times.
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 licence, CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Minimum 12 months of HGV Class 1 driving experience.
- Good understanding of road safety and working time regulations.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Comfortable using a smartphone or navigation app for route management.
Pay & Benefits:
- £15.28 per hour
- Weekly or Monthly pay through Pertemps
