Voluntary School Trustees - Abbey View Alternative Provision School
Tewkesbury
Details:
CCT Learning is the academy trust behind Abbey View, a specialist Alternative Provision school in Tewkesbury supporting young people in Years 7–11 who need something different from mainstream education.
Our purpose is simple: We Change Lives.
We are looking for new Trustees to join our Board and help shape the next stage of the Trust’s development. Trustees provide strategic oversight of the Trust, supporting and challenging its leadership and helping ensure strong educational outcomes, effective governance and responsible use of public funds.
You do not need previous trustee or education experience. We are interested in people who can bring their professional experience, judgement and perspective to the Board. Experience in areas such as finance, HR, business, education, safeguarding, legal, governance or organisational leadership would be particularly valuable.
The commitment is approximately four Trust Board meetings each year, membership of one sub-committee meeting around three times a year, plus occasional school visits and training.
This is an opportunity to use your experience to make a tangible difference to a specialist local school and, most importantly, to the lives and futures of the young people it supports.
Training and support are provided. All appointments are subject to the usual eligibility and safeguarding requirements.

Closing Date for Applications: 23/10/26
