Summer Fair and Dog Show Volunteers

We’re looking for friendly, enthusiastic volunteers to help us at our Summer Fair & Dog Show, taking place at Fromebridge Mill on Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th August. Whether you can spare a few hours or the whole weekend, your time and energy will make a real difference!

Volunteer Times:

• Friday – Help us set up ahead of the event
• Saturday – 9am to 4pm
• Sunday – 9am to 4pm

Even just a couple of hours on the Saturday or Sunday would be a huge help, but if you’re up for a full day (or the full weekend!), we’d love to have you on board.

What you might be doing:

• Helping set up on the Friday
• Hosting a stall with other volunteers
• Running games, selling refreshments, or managing the tombola
• Helping on the gate or with car parking
• Some roles may involve handling cash and using a card reader linked to your phone – just let us know if this isn’t something you’re able to do.

What you’ll need:

• To be comfortable sitting or standing in a field for a few hours
• A friendly, helpful attitude – we love volunteers who enjoy chatting with visitors!
• To be happy around dogs
• To dress for all weather conditions – rain or shine, the show goes on!
