Age UK Gloucestershire enables people to live well in later life. Volunteers, making a difference in their own communities, are central to how we work.

From ensuring people have the right information to make choices about their future, to having the ability to use a phone or tablet to stay in touch with a loved one, or providing practical support that means someone can safely leave hospital, we have a wide range of volunteering opportunities, to suit your interests, skills and experience.

Being a member of the Age UK Gloucestershire volunteering team is fun, rewarding and makes a direct difference to the lives of older people. If you want to use your skills or build new ones; if you want to meet new people or be part of a new team, then our volunteering team could be the place for you.

A full induction, training and ongoing support from your peers and our colleague team is provided. Age UK Gloucestershire cover volunteering related expenses.

Whether you can commit regularly or just have a little time to spare, there are plenty of opportunities across Gloucestershire to choose from, including at countywide events and groups and from your own home, and can fit around your existing commitments. You may wish to share your skills, boost your CV, meet new people or give back to your community, whatever your reason for volunteering, we’d love to welcome you to our team.
