Orpington Education Group (OEG) is recruiting caring hosts in **Cheltenham** to welcome **international boarding-school students under the age of 18** during occasional weekends, half-term breaks and school holidays.

These students are minors. Hosting includes providing a safe, welcoming home, meals, appropriate adult supervision and day-to-day care, with support and safeguarding guidance from OEG.

We welcome applications from individuals, couples and families. Previous hosting experience is welcome, but not essential.

**What we offer**

• **Up to £500 per week**, with short-stay rates of **up to £100 per day**. The applicable rate and what it covers will be agreed before each booking.
• **Flexibility:** tell us when you are available, and we will discuss suitable stays with you.
• **Ongoing support:** guidance before arrival, support throughout the placement and a 24-hour emergency contact.
• **The opportunity to build a lasting connection:** where suitable, welcome the same student back during future school breaks.

**What we are looking for**

Hosts who can provide:

• A clean, comfortable bedroom with space to study.
• Regular meals and suitable snacks.
• A warm, welcoming home where the student feels included.
• Appropriate adult supervision and care for a student under 18.
• A commitment to following OEG’s safeguarding guidance and reporting any concerns promptly.
• Reliable communication with OEG about the student’s wellbeing and arrangements.

OEG coordinates arrangements with parents and schools and provides relevant information about each student before their stay.

OEG provides educational guardianship and support for international students attending UK schools. We help students settle into life in the UK and arrange their care during school breaks.

Our host approval process includes a home visit, references and relevant DBS and safeguarding checks before a student is placed.
