Trust Finance Manager
Stroud
Hours – 8.30am – 4.30pm Monday to Friday
Based at – Marling School, Stroud
Start Date – ASAP
The Trustees of Cotswold Beacon Academy Trust are seeking to appoint a skilled and organised
Trust Finance Manager to support the Trust in our next stage of growth. You will have experience
of working in a finance driven environment and possess excellent people skills, attention to detail
and risk awareness. Applicants with qualifications in Accountancy would be welcome, although this
is not essential, and a candidate with experience in Management Accounting will be considered.
The Trust uses Microsoft Business Central and familiarity with finance software up to Trial Balance
is essential. Full training will be given to the right candidate. The role is varied and will involve
working on your own initiative, as well as part of a team. Due to the people focused nature of this
post, it is not suitable for hybrid or remote working
The Trust Finance Manager will be responsible for:
- Supporting the CFOO by managing and planning the workload of the Trust central finance function undertaking a variety of finance tasks to ensure compliance with the Trust’s finance
- procedures and policies. Responsible for the line management, appraisal and development of Trust finance staff including Finance Assistant and Payroll Administrator.
- Assist the CFOO in developing the Trust central finance function to support the growth of the
- Trust
- To manage all Trust cash funds including the ordering and receipt of goods, processing of payments to suppliers, collection and recording of cash income.
- To manage the Trust School Trips finance process.
