Sales & Office Administrator

Cheltenham

To take full responsibility for the administration, management and smooth running of Customers liaised with. Account management functions and arranging artwork creation for use in printed publications and online to standards necessary for Customer and Company satisfaction. Assist in existing and new incoming sales, marketing and other activities to enhance overall Company performance.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

1. Communicate regularly with existing and incoming Customers to service their needs and develop long term relationships.
2. Accurately process orders via email or phone, and process bookings on internal software.
3. Liaise with Customers to solicit accurate instructions and content for advertisement artwork.
4. Send artwork proofs to advertisers and assist in making amendments as necessary.
5. Aspects of internal office management and communication systems.
6. Perform necessary administrative duties including proof reading of editorial, advertising and online content.
7. Populate CRM system.
8. Perform tasks conducive to the smooth running of the office environment.
9. Perform telephone and visitor reception duties.
10. Aid in the smooth running of the Company’s premises.
11. Attend business networking and other external events as required.
12. Attend, contribute to and assist in the management of internal meetings.
13. Deliver any material, documents or information to other Company departments in order for each to perform their duties effectively and within agreed time frames.
14. Develop relevant knowledge and skills through experience, communications with colleagues/manager and any training provided.
15. Manage personal time and productivity.
16. Monitor and report on personal activities and provide relevant management information.
17. Understand and use The Local Answer’s (the Company’s) procedures and systems (manual and electronic).
18. Adhere to the Company’s Health & Safety policy and all other policies detailed in the Company’s Staff Handbook.
19. Adhere to the Company’s working practices (see ‘The Local Answer – General Conduct for All Employees’).

Salary: £24,000 to £26,000 per annum, depending on experience.
