Job Summary:
The Training Administrator plays a key role in overseeing the delivery of high-quality home care services and ensuring staff are effectively trained and compliant with relevant standards. This role involves coordinating care services, managing schedules, supporting care workers, and developing and maintaining training programs to meet organisational and regulatory requirements.
Key Tasks:
- Schedule and organise training sessions, inductions, and meetings.
- Work closely with management and external training providers to ensure training complies with all relevant regulations, including CQC (Care Quality Commission) standards, best practice and operational goals.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development and support individual staff in accessing their learning platforms.
- Maintain accurate digital training records. Attendance logs and certificates and ensure mandatory training is completed on time.
- In conjunction with line managers, ensure that all new staff receive appropriate induction training according to their job role and needs.
- Provide reporting on performance levels for the Management team.
- Manage daily scheduling and coordination of care workers to ensure service user needs are met.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date service user records.
- Respond to service user’s enquiries and resolve service-related issues promptly.
- Liaise with service users, families, and external healthcare professionals.
- To be computer literate: use of Word/Excel/e-mail etc.
