Customer Service & Administrative Assistant - Eden Property Management
Nr Tewkesbury
Eden Property is seeking a Customer Service & Administrative Assistant to join our growing student lettings team. This is an excellent opportunity to support a well-established, family-run business that provides and manages high-quality student housing for over 450 undergraduates and postgraduates each year.
You'll play a key role in ensuring smooth communication and application processing for our student tenants. The role is partly remote, but you'll attend a 3-week induction and then 1 day per week in our Overbury office (near Tewkesbury).
You'll report to our Head of Operations and work as part of a friendly, dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Frontline Communication: Handle text, phone and email enquiries from students, prospective tenants and parents in a professional, friendly manner.
- Tenant Liaison: Communicate clearly with current and incoming student tenants throughout the lettings and application process.
- Application Handling: Enter, track, and manage tenant application data across our systems.
- Admin & Documentation: Ensure tenancy records and documents are accurate, up-to-date, and complete.
- Team Support: Carry out general administrative duties to support the wider property team.
Requirements:
- Experience in customer service, admin, or data entry is beneficial.
- Essential: Proficiency in word processing and office software (e.g., Microsoft suite, Google Docs).
- Preferred: Remote work experience and strong self-management skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Must hold a full UK driving licence.
- Must have the unrestricted right to work in the UK (we cannot provide visa sponsorship or employment support).
Availability to attend:
- 3-week in-person induction at our office in Overbury (Tewkesbury).
- 1 in-office day per week thereafter.
Preferred Criteria:
- Residing within 5 miles of Cheltenham for ease of travel and familiarity with the local area.
- Prior experience with or study at the University of Gloucestershire or another UK university.
- Awareness of student accommodation processes or Cheltenham's student community.
What We Offer
- £26,500-£28,500 salary based on experience plus performance based bonus.
- 37.5 hours contracted per week.
- 20 days annual holiday (excluding bank holidays).
