Job summary

Clinical Healthcare Support Worker - Breast Care, Band 3 (23.5 hrs a week)

You will be an integral part of a multi-disciplinary breast care team delivering a high quality patient centred service for its users and their supporters.

Additional working pattern details:

To be able to work 23.5 hours per week across Monday to Friday to cover the weekly shift pattern. 3 x 08:30-13:30 and 1 x 08:30-17:30. This pattern will fluctuate depending on the consultant timetable. Rotas are completed 6 weeks in advance.

Main duties of the job

Your main role will include, running and working within the symptomatic (2 week wait) clinic which runs daily. Your role will include supporting patients as they access services within the breast centre. You will chaperone patients having assessments and treatments in an outpatient setting.
