Bluebell Unit provides a safe environment for adults and children brought in by the police under Sections 135 or 136 of the Mental Health Act. This is a 24-hour, fast-paced, and dynamic service that caters to the specific needs of individuals experiencing a mental health crisis, presenting with a wide variety of challenges and personalities.

You will learn how to care for individuals in mental health crisis by promoting choice and independence in the least restrictive way possible.
This role operates on a 24/7 shift basis, and staff will qualify for unsocial hours enhancements in addition to basic pay.

You will gain valuable experience in caring for individuals in mental health crisis by promoting choice and independence in the least restrictive way possible.Successful applicants will also be required to complete a Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression (PMVA) course. This training equips staff with the skills to de-escalate distress and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for all.
