We are seeking a dedicated Independent Living Officer committed to delivering high‑quality housing support and exceptional service to our residents across our four independent living schemes in Gloucester. This is a highly rewarding role, focused on empowering older people to live independently and thrive within their homes and communities.
As an Independent Living Officer, you will be a visible and a reassuring presence for our residents. You will play a proactive role and be passionate about supporting residents to feel safe, empowered, and well‑connected within their homes.”
We are recruiting a reliable, confident, and forward‑thinking Independent Living Officer to help us provide safe, supportive, and well‑maintained homes for our residents in line with the Housing Regulator – Consumer Standards.

This is a part‑time, permanent position, subject to an Enhanced DBS check. A full UK driving licence is essential.
You will be someone who:
- Is positive, proactive, and committed to delivering excellent service
- Is solution-focused and works to achieve the best outcomes for residents
- Is self‑motivated, flexible, and confident in managing their own workload
- Understands and maintains professional boundaries
- Has experience supporting or working with older people
- Has experience working within policies, procedures, and codes of conduct
