Due to expansion here at Care View Limited we are currently seeking a dedicated, committed and passionate Domiciliary Care Assistant to join our small friendly team. The role involves providing exceptional care and support to individuals in their own homes. We provide a bespoke service to individuals using our service and no individual is the same. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need of assistance.

The position is based in these areas; Dursley, Stroud, Quedgeley and other surrounding areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, medication administration, dressing, and meals.
  • Companionship to clients, accompanying clients on outings.
  • Follow Care Plans to ensure individual needs are met effectively.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families and colleagues.
  • Help support our clients to maintain independence and provide emotional support and companionship to clients

Requirements:

  • Must be willing to work every other weekend along with morning and evening shifts. (Morning shifts start no earlier than 08:00am, Evening Shifts finish no later than 21:00)
  • Must have a genuine passion for providing exceptional care.
  • Must be flexible and work as part of a small friendly team.
  • Must wear uniform stated in our Policy.
  • Hold a full driving licence and have access to your own vehicle
  • Be a kind and caring individual wanting to help others
  • Be happy to learn and develop new skills
  • Have a calm ‘can do’ attitude
  • Prove your right to live and work in the UK
  • Attend training as and when required

Qualifications:

  • Experience in Homecare is desirable.
  • Ability to use IT systems for record-keeping purposes.
  • A valid driver's license is required along with own vehicle.
  • Proficient in English to communicate clearly with clients and staff
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and work effectively in a team

Pay:

  • No Diploma in Health and Social care starting from £12.50- £13.50
  • Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social care starting from £12.75- £13.75
  • Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social care starting from £13.25- £14.25
