Ability to read and write exams for some of our students.
About this role:
Invigilators are required for exam periods throughout the year, BTECs (April, May), especially during the busy Summer GCSE & A Levels (May & June) sessions, Mock exams (Nov, Dec, Jan, March) and would suit applicants interested in picking up part time hours, on an ad hoc basis. Hours are variable and allocated as required and paid at a rate of £13.17 per hour plus holiday pay.
Work usually starts at 8.00am for morning exams and 1:00pm for afternoon exams. Duties include: -
Supporting SEND in exams
The secure distribution and collection of exam materials
Providing, keeping a record of and supervising an appropriate environment for students to take their examination
Ensuring that all exam board regulations are enforced during the examinations
Managing time keeping of exams and once sessions are completed, ensuring all learners leave and prepare the set up for the next session
