Practice Education Facilitator

Job summary
This role is offered on a permanent basis. The hours are part-time, 30 hours per week.
The Learning and Development Team support a range of structured training, education and professional development programmes for staff at all levels and staff working in other organisations and workplaces.
The Practice Education (collaborating with the Apprenticeship and Widening Participation Team) team manage all student and (healthcare programme) apprentice placements within the Trust and promote quality of patient care through the continuing education of all members of staff and students.
The practice education team indirectly support students providing direct support for practice supervisors and assessors and all other staff involved in learning and assessment in practice activities to develop quality assured placements for students.
Main duties of the job
- Co-ordinate and develop non-medical clinical placements across the organisation
- Ensure compliance with the organisation's and / or One Gloucestershire's Learning and Development Agreement and other educational contracts
- Ensure practice supervisors and practice assessors are developed to support non-medical learners in practice.
