Early Years Practitioner - 121. Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education. Fixed term contract. Part time (20 hours a week – 9:00am – 1:00pm ,5 days a week). Term time only. Grade: 5 Point: 11 – 14,  £28,142 - £29,540 per annum (PRO RATA) . Start Date: Thursday 3rd September 2026 until 31st August 2027.

A wonderful opportunity has arisen for an outstanding professional to join our Preschool team. Nestled in the heart of Cheltenham, Dunalley Primary is a nurturing, community-focused school and nursery with a passion for our beautiful outdoor spaces and wider environmental issues.  

Always seeking to innovate and improve our practices, this is an exciting time to join Dunalley as we look to develop and enhance our nursery and pre-school setting.    

As an effective early year’s practitioner, the successful candidate will play a key role supporting the healthy growth and development of our children. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a nursery/ preschool setting and can evidence this, lead practice and foster a culture of continuous improvement, will set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge every child. They will make use of observation and assessment and provision taking account of the individual needs of every child and fulfill wider professional responsibilities by promoting positive partnership working to support the child.
