1) 20 hrs per week, part time, term time only - Mon-Fri 2-6pm - £11,842.99 to £25,615

2) 30 hrs per week, part time, term time only - Mon-Fri 6-8am & 2-6pm - £17,764.49 to £25,615

We are looking for enthusiastic cleaners with an excellent work ethic to join our cleaning team.

Previous cleaning experience would be an advantage, although training will be provided.

MAIN PURPOSE:
The Cleaning Manager is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the school. Each cleaner will be responsible for an area and will be expected to clean it to a high standard. From instruction given by the Cleaning Manager, cleaning staff will clean other areas as required.
It is the Cleaning Manager’s responsibility to ensure that high standards of cleanliness are reached and maintained. From time to time the Cleaning Manager will carry out spot checks on any aspect of cleanliness he/she feels is appropriate.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Daily Tasks

• Emptying bins and handling rubbish
• Vacuum carpets & hard floors
• Mop hard floors
• Damp-dust/wipe (desks, work surfaces, computer areas, computer screens, keyboards)
• Clean sink areas
• Toilet areas – clean urinals, toilets, sinks, wipe glass, mop floors, wipe handles/door handles
• Wipe clean door glass/handles

Monthly tasks

• Damp-dust ledges, windowsills & skirting boards
• Wipe wall marks, skirting board marks
• Wipe fire extinguishers
• Vacuum/damp-dust chairs/bases of the chairs
• Remove cobwebs
• Toilets: disinfect toilet brush holders

  • Experience of undertaking general cleaning duties
