Cheltenham

We work from co-working spaces in Cheltenham and Gloucester. This is a hybrid role, so while you'll
have the flexibility to work from home, you’ll also be required to attend in-person content days,
events, and client shoots.

Access to a car is preferred due to the nature of client visits and kit transport.

Terms

Salary: £24,000 - £27,000 (pro rata for part-time) – please include your expectations when applying
Structure: Flexible hours / Hybrid

effective. Our work spans digital strategy, video, photography, podcasting, social media, and
newsletters, mostly for technical sectors like cybersecurity. We’re a small but ambitious business that

About the Role

We’re looking for a Content Executive who can deliver high-quality content across formats while
keeping the business organised and moving forward. You’ll be involved in everything from shooting
video and podcasts to copy writing, supporting events, and managing admin.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation & Production

  • Film, edit and deliver video, photo, and podcast content
  • Set up and safely manage kit before and after shoots
  • Edit content including graphics, audio, colour correction, and multi-cam
  • Repurpose and optimise content for social media and a variety of digital platforms
  • Support or lead production on content days
  • Elevate content shot on smartphones (in collaboration with our Social Media Manager)
  • Stay up to date with tools and best practices across Adobe CC and beyond

Content Strategy

  • Plan and write blog content, articles, and newsletters
  • Ensure content supports wider digital marketing strategy
  • Social Media Management
  • Podcast Management

Admin & Business Support

  • Coordinate logistics for content shoots, client meetings, and events
  • Support with internal admin tasks like proposals and invoicing
  • Organise and label kit, flag repairs or issues

Client & Community Engagement

  • Build great relationships with AVC clients
  • Represent AVC at events in Cheltenham and beyond
  • Brand awareness in physical spaces and using Linkedin
  • Be an active part of the local business and cybersecurity communities

Core Competencies
Required

  • Strong video editing and camera skills in Premiere Pro, Audition, Photoshop, After Effects
  • Strong post-production skills, e.g. colour correction, multi-cam, animation
  • Strong video production skills
  • Understand the importance of lighting
  • Photography
  • Strong eye for framing and beautiful shots
  • Technical knowledge of cameras
  • Excellent written communication
  • Organised, proactive, and reliable
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a small team
  • Curiosity and adaptability – you’re happy to learn on the job

Bonus (Not Essential)

  • Experience in a digital agency, start-up, or tech company
  • SEO knowledge
  • Social Media Management Experience
  • Familiarity with Canva
  • Experience supporting executives or founders
