Pro rate 30 hours: actual salary £26,514 to £29,090 p.a.

Both roles are fixed term maternity cover contract until end of August 2026, with potential to extend. Secondments welcome.
We are seeking to appoint two experienced and motivated Family Support Workers to join our professional and dedicated Targeted Family Support Team. We are looking for one full-time position (37 hours/week) and another part-time role (30 hours/week over 4/5 days), both fixed term maternity; initially until the end of August 2026, with potential to extend.
To make a vital contribution to the direct delivery of a high-quality targeted family support service for families with children aged 0 - 11 years old across Cheltenham and Tewkesbury localities.
Working as part of a team to deliver programmes of intervention to improve parenting, resolve issues and improve functioning in families. Participating in a multi- disciplinary approach to working with families and co-ordinate partnerships and services to meet the needs of families.
The successful candidate will work alongside Gloucestershire County and District Councils teams, Independent Agencies, local partnerships and the voluntary sector to support and implement the countywide Early Help offer.
The successful candidate will preferably have an NVQ 4 or above in Childcare, Education or Health & Social Care or an NVQ 3, with an expectation to work towards a Level 4. You will also demonstrate a willingness to undertake other training appropriate to the role.
The post holder will be required to work at any of the Children and Family Centres operated by the Aspire Foundation across the Cheltenham and Tewkesbury area.
