Volunteers Needed

Abacus is a unique charity shop as it’s the only shop in town that only sells baby and children’s items, up to the age of about 5 years old.
We sell clothing, toys, books and other equipment.
We already have a small team of lovely volunteers but we urgently need more who would be happy to serve customers in the shop.
No experience is needed and there is no complicated till system – just a simple credit card machine!
This position would suit someone who likes dealing with the public and enjoys seeing lots of grandparents and parents with young children!
We are currently open Tuesdays to Saturdays 10am to 4pm but would like to open more and would especially like to hear from anyone who can work on Mondays or at the weekend. Shifts are 3 hours minimum and can be longer.

The charity that Abacus raises funds for is ‘Goals Beyond Grass’ which is a local charity that provides sporting, social and physical activities for severely disabled youngsters.
