Volunteers needed for FRESH - a New Youth Club - Thursdays 6pm-7.30pm - Term time
Cheltenham
FRESH is a new youth club that is a safe, fun and supportive space for local young people who may not connect with other youth activities.
It is a great mix of sports and creative activities with young people having their say on the activities.
FRESH is a part of the detached youth project and funded by Cheltenham Borough Council, No Child Left Behind, Gloucestershire NHS and the Office of Police and Crime Commissioner.
Full training will be provided.
We welcome volunteers from all ages and backgrounds, however the minimum age for this role is 18.
DBS checks are carried out, however a criminal record will not necessarily bar you from volunteering.
All volunteers receive induction training including Safeguarding as well as further training opportunities in Food Hygiene and First Aid. Our experienced Youth Workers are on hand to offer advice and support.
As a volunteer, you will gain and develop new skills, receive ongoing training, meet new people and have fun!!
