Care Navigator/Receptionist - IHC_CSM
Church Street Medical Practice, Tewkesbury
We are offering a great opportunity for a new Care Navigator to join our join our dynamic and responsive team who are committed to providing accessible, high-quality healthcare. Church Street Medical is a thriving practice set in the historic riverside town of Tewkesbury Our commitment to our patients is demonstrated by our organisation being one of the first to recruit Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Pharmacists and Paramedics who support our team in the surgery. We continue to invest in a broad range of new technologies to support the delivery of primary healthcare in these busy times.
Who are we?
Church Street is part of Inspire Healthcare who has five practice sites across Cheltenham, Tewkesbury & Cirencester. We currently employ 26 doctors, 35 nurses and over 50 non-clinical staff to care for our 34,000 patients (with our list sizes growing every day!).
Job Summary:
- Offer general assistance to the practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone
- Receive, assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way
- Undertake a variety of administrative duties to assist in the smooth running of the practice.
- Facilitate effective communication between patients, members the primary health care team, secondary care and other associated healthcare agencies
Shift pattern and hours
30 hours per week:
- Mon 2-6.30pm
- Wed 8 – 1.30pm
- Thurs 8 – 6.30pm
- Fri 8 – 6.30pm.
