Communications, Marketing and Fundraising Officer

Churchdown

Grade 5, Points 9-12
30+ hours a week
Term time only plus additional 10 days by agreement with line manager, but covering exam results
and other events
Equivalent to 40 weeks
Salary- £25,119-£26,421 full time (actual £17,924-£18,853, minimum depending on hours
worked)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Communications, Marketing and Fundraising Officer, to join
our support staff team. You will have a creative flair and experience of marketing and social media,
be pro-active and work with colleagues to raise awareness of all the wonderful opportunities
embraced by our students This is a great opportunity to put your creative skills into action and you
will have a great influence on the branding and social media presence of the school.

The successful candidate will help raise the profile of the school with regular social media posts,
production of marketing materials and oversight of the school website. We are also looking for
someone who could help raise additional income through fundraising activities and grant
applications.

The role reports to the school Business Manager and will work closely with other colleagues around
the school, promoting activities and events throughout the school and wider community.

Previous school experience is not essential as full training will be given, however an awareness of
school website requirements would be useful. Experience of fundraising will be advantageous, but
we will provide training for the right candidate.

The role is advertised as 30+ hours and we are happy to consider between 30 and 37 hours per week
for flexible working.

is a large, popular and successful 11-18 Academy School situated in Churchdown halfway between
Cheltenham and Gloucester. We have around 1350 students on roll, of which 200 are in the Sixth
Form. Chosen Hill is a happy school, where students, staff and parents work closely in partnership.
