Chosen Hill School is a large comprehensive single academy trust located in Churchdown, near Cheltenham in Gloucestershire. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed teaching assistant. We are looking for candidates who have NVQ level 3 relevant qualifications and experience of working with students who have a range of special needs in Key Stages 3 & 4.
The successful candidate would ideally have good interpersonal skills and the confidence and ability to relate well with students. Excellent communication skills are essential for this role as are the ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure.
The post is offered at approximately 25 hoursa week (Monday to Friday, times to be agreed but the 5 days of the school week). Term time only, 39 weeks to include insets.
