Permanent, to start in June 2026

27.5 hours per week, Mon-Fri, 4.45-10.15pm, all year round.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and commercially minded Sports Hub Manager to oversee the operation and development of our brand-new 3G pitch and sports facilities. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a high-quality sporting asset, maximise community lettings income, and build strong relationships with our partner clubs, local sports clubs, organisations and users. You will be working alongside the school’s Operations Manager to develop the lettings processes and marketing of the 3G pitch.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management, promotion and lettings of the facilities, ensuring they are safe, well-maintained and welcoming for both school and community use.

Key Areas of Responsibility include:

  • Manage and develop the lettings programme for the 3G pitch and associated sports facilities
  • Act as the main point of contact for all external users and sports hall assistants
  • Maximise income generation and occupancy levels during evenings, weekends and school holidays
  • Manage the booking system and report on useage.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety protocols, Safeguarding and operational requirements
  • Carry out or coordinate pitch inspections and routine maintenance checks
  • Oversee opening, closing, security and cleaning arrangements out of normal school hours.
  • Supervise and coordinate casual or site staff involved in lettings
  • Handle customer enquiries, issues and complaints professionally
  • Work closely with school leaders and site staff to support school priorities

Chosen Hill School is a large comprehensive academy located in Churchdown, near Cheltenham in Gloucestershire.

The post is offered at 27.5 hours per week over 5 days 4.45-10.15pm each day. This is an all year round position, with holiday hours potentially during the day rather than evenings, depending on bookings.
