Community Matron (Nurse/Paramedic/Allied Health Professional)

Cirencester

Band:  Band 7, salary £43,742 - £50,056 pa pro rata (or Band 6 at Development post) AfC

Hours:  30 hrs - Permanent - Part-time

Base:  South Cotswolds

Are you an enthusiastic, motivated and dedicated professional looking for a new and exciting challenge? We are a small, friendly and supportive team who are looking for a new Community Matron to complete our service.  The South Cotswolds Frailty Service is a forward thinking, dynamic service which positions person centred care at the centre of its case management approach to supporting people living with frailty.

Our registered professionals are autonomous practitioners who assess people with frailty and use their clinical expertise and judgement to work with people to improve the clinical and quality of life outcomes for people with complex biopsychosocial needs.

The post holder will be responsible for the line management, supervision, training, support and leadership of a Wellbeing Coordinator within the team. You will have the opportunity to lead on areas of service development and deputise for, and undertake work delegated by, the Senior Community Matron as required.

This is a permanent role, and the hours of work will be weekdays between 8am and 6pm.  Although there are no plans currently, future expansion of the service may be considered to include 7-day working.
