Must haves

  • Previous experience in a customer service or customer support role

  • Confident using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word

  • Customer-focused mindset with adaptability to different personality types
  • Proactive approach with a positive, solutions-driven attitude
  • Comfortable working as part of a small, collaborative team
  • Nice to haves
  • Experience using Xero accounting software
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and customer service practices
  • Experience booking deliveries or working with logistics providers
  • Confidence upselling products where appropriate

So, what will you be doing?

  • Managing inbound and outbound customer calls in a timely and professional manner
  • Taking customer orders over the phone and creating sales invoices using Xero
  • Producing Excel order files for warehouse picking and dispatch
  • Identifying customer needs, investigating issues, and providing effective solutions
  • Handling enquiries, complaints, and order queries with customer satisfaction at the core
  • Upselling products when appropriate and adding value to customer interactions
  • Maintaining accurate records of customer conversations and account notes
  • Working closely with internal teams to ensure service quality is prioritised
  • Following agreed communication processes while remaining customer-focused
