Camera Recycle Ltd is an independent business specialising in buying, testing, and reselling vintage cameras and photography equipment. As part of the circular economy, we give new life to thousands of vintage items every year.
About the Role:
We’re looking for a responsible, detail-oriented person with an interest in photography or vintage cameras to join our small team.
Your main responsibility would be to process incoming parcels containing camera equipment - this includes testing and product photography.
Great for those with an interest for a steady paced work environment and active interest in vintage photography/videography.
Main Responsibilities
Process incoming stock:
- unpack, test, and sort camera gear
- Photograph items for listings in a product photography set up
- Pack and dispatch customer orders
- Maintain clean and accurate records using spreadsheets
- Keep the workspace tidy and well-organised
What We’re Looking For (Essentials):
- Organised, detail-focused and comfortable multi-tasking
- Comfortable working alone - You may occasionally work independently
- Good computer literacy (Excel, Google Sheets, Windows)
- Reliable and methodical with repetitive tasks
- Interest in vintage photography/videography
Preferred:
- Previous experience testing or handling vintage camera gear (especially 35mm, medium format, or vintage camcorders)
- Basic knowledge of how cameras work, lenses, brands, and film types
- Experience in product photography or cameras
Working Hours & Pay:
- Part-Time: 08:00–13:00 Monday to Friday (option for overtime).
- £12.60 – £14.50/hour depending on experience
Quarterly bonus: up to £200
