Playgroup Early Years Practitioner. Level 2 or 3 required. Tuesday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:00pm. Fixed-term Contract until July 2027. Term-time only. Pay: Minimum £12.71, depending on qualifications and experience. Start Date: ASAP.
We are seeking an experienced Early Years Practitioner – Level 2 or 3 to join our team. This is a full-time role on a fixed-term contract basis until the end of the academic term in July 2027.
The playgroup is open daily during term time from 8:30am - 3:00pm, Tuesday to Friday, and welcomes children between 2 and 4 years old.
Whiteshill Playgroup has been serving the families of Whiteshill and the wider Stroud area since 1985. We have a fantastic team who are professional, enthusiastic, and passionate about early years education.
Applicants should possess an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Early Years Education & Childcare or equivalent, be trained in paediatric first aid and have a Level 2 Award in Safeguarding and Protecting Children and Young People.
You should be proactive and motivated to assist the existing team in the day-to-day running of the setting. You will help deliver play-based activities for the children that foster a fun and stimulating environment, and support their learning and development in accordance with the EYFS framework.
