Do you love Christmas, animals, and spreading festive cheer?
We’re looking for a team of Festive Shop Elves to help transform our Stroud charity shop into a paw-some winter wonderland!
From jingling tills to twinkling displays, your time volunteering will raise vital funds to help Teckels’ rescue cats and dogs find their forever homes.
What you’ll be doing
- On the shop floor – chatting with customers, helping people find their perfect Christmas gift, and being the ultimate Santa Paws helper on the till.
- Behind the scenes – sorting, tagging, and arranging donations like a merchandising magician, or unleashing your creative side to turn displays into tail-wagging works of art.
- Spreading the cheer – whatever your role, you’ll be helping us keep the shop looking its sparkly best.
When you can help
Our charity shop is open 9am–5pm, Tuesday to Saturday, and you can volunteer whenever the shop is open. We’re flexible with shifts, but ideally ask for one four-hour shift a week (or more if you wish). Of course, there’ll be festive treats and hot drinks to keep you going!
What you’ll need
- A cheerful, friendly manner
- Willingness to get stuck in and help wherever needed
- A love of Christmas and a desire to support animals
- No previous experience required – full training is provided
