We are looking for a reliable and hardworking School Cleaner to join our friendly team at Foxmoor Primary School. You will play an important role in helping us provide a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our children, staff, and visitors.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
• Clean all allocated areas of the school thoroughly and to the required standard, using appropriate equipment and cleaning materials.
• Safely dispose of waste and litter, taking extra care with hazardous materials such as broken glass or liquids.
• Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and bin liners as required.
• Use cleaning chemicals safely and in accordance with manufacturers’ instructions, ensuring all containers are correctly labelled and stored securely.
• Maintain and care for cleaning equipment, reporting any faults or damages to the Site Manager.
• Ensure all cleaning cloths, mops, and tools are cleaned and left to dry at the end of each session.
• Report any health and safety concerns, maintenance issues, or signs of damage to the Site Manager immediately.
• Follow Health & Safety procedures at all times, using warning signs, protective clothing, and safe working practices.
• Provide cover for absent colleagues as required, which may involve occasional changes to work areas or hours
• Undertake any other related cleaning duties as directed by the Site Manager.

Please note this is a term time job but includes 6 weeks of holiday (at 8 hours per week) to take part in a deep clean.
