Stroud High School was inspected by Ofsted in November 2023 and was delighted to achieve Outstanding across all of the five main elements of the inspection. The inspectors had much to praise about the school, but notably the “the highly ambitious vision” the school has for its pupils, the high standards of teaching, the “exemplary conduct” of the student body, and the mutual support given to and by all elements of the school.

As a Site Operative, you will join a strong and support team of staff. You will work with the Site Team to ensure the building, both internally and externally, and grounds are maintained to a high standard so that students and staff can work in it effectively and safely.

This position is permanent, working 7.5 hours per week, all year round. The working pattern is Friday 6:00 – 2.30pm with a half hour for lunch. This role does not generally include split shifts, but a degree of flexibility is needed to support the school’s needs. Additional hours may be required to support absence (holiday/sickness) where available.
