St Rose’s is the organisational name in which St Rose’s School, St Martin’s College and Residential Care sits within, working on the same site and sharing some facilities. St Rose's provision is from 2 to 25 years; a nursery, a non-maintained special school for students from 5 to 19 and St Martin’s an independent specialist college for students from 19 to 25. Our students have physical and sensory disabilities, learning and communication difficulties and complex health needs.
Due to increasing student numbers, we are looking for an outstanding individual to provide part time teaching of students with Education, Health, and Care Plans, across a wide range of ages and additional complex needs, including medical needs.
To help each student to work and develop to their own full spiritual, intellectual, physical, social, and emotional potential, by helping to provide a positive and safe environment in which the students are able to develop their ability to communicate, gain knowledge and skills and increase their independence.
To be responsible for interacting on a professional level with colleagues, seeking to establish and maintain productive relationships with them in order to promote mutual understanding of areas of the curriculum and curriculum long term plans, whilst aiming to improve the quality of teaching and learning in the college.To meet the appropriate Teacher Standards, Professional Standards and Post Threshold Standards for Teachers and Trainers.
