Front of House/Shop Assistant
Twigworth
Nature in Art is an award-winning museum at Twigworth, just north of Gloucester on the main A38 (www.natureinart.org.uk). Housed in a fine Georgian mansion, it has an unrivalled art collection and an active programme of events, courses etc. It enjoys the support of 1000 season ticket holders. It has a shop and welcome desk which is the first point of contact for visitors.We are looking for someone to join our Front of house/shop team to work a minimum of one weekend day a month, ideally 2 days.
Must have previous shop or customer facing experience and be comfortable with cash handling and end of day cashing up processes.
This role will also include supporting volunteers so the applicant will need to be comfortable with this.
Someone who could help provide holiday cover on very occasional weekdays would be an advantage but is not absolutely necessary.
Immediate start possible with training given.
Own transport desirable due to location.
