Barnardo's nurseries in Gloucestershire have three nursery settings across Gloucester City and the Forest of Dean.  Our aim is to provide early years education of the highest quality with an ethos that values children and parents/carers from all backgrounds.

Due to expansion, we are looking for one outstanding person to work part-time in our small, friendly team at Finlay Nursery, Gloucester.  You need to be caring and approachable with preferably some experience of working with children under 5.

Wednesday-Friday (20.5 hrs per week), term time only (39 weeks per year) starting September 2026.

Successful candidates will need:

  • Early Education or Childcare qualification Level 3 minimum
  • To work as part of a team to provide good quality services to young children and their families accessing the service.  
  • Excellent knowledge of the EYFS
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to targets and deadlines.
  • Good time Management skills.
  • Excellent Communication skills.
