Bettridge is a special school for pupils with severe and complex learning difficulties ranging in age from 2 to 19 years.

We are seeking to appoint a friendly, competent Receptionist/Administration Assistant. 10 hours per week, Monday –Friday 12noon – 2pm (times can be flexible). Additional hours may be required to cover sickness/absence.

Term time, plus inset plus one week, 40 weeks per year.

This post requires flexibility with regards to workspaces as you may be based on front reception. The role includes administration duties for which you need to have accuracy and attention to detail.

A versatile and enthusiastic person is essential to take on this role in a very busy and demanding office. Applicants must be flexible, conscientious, have good interpersonal skills and a head for multi-tasking. You need to have excellent knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook. The ability to build and form good relationships with staff, pupils, colleagues and other professionals is essential.
