About the Role:
- Entails the delivery of high-quality teaching within classroom, practical and laboratory settings, assessment and administration for animal health focused modules at undergraduate and postgraduate level
- Supports the development of students to reach their full potential and maximise the opportunities Hartpury offers through academic personal tutoring
- Ideally suited for an early career University lecturer who has some experience but is looking to expand and grow their career
- Requires impactful engagement with research or equivalent scholarly activity to support excellence in teaching and learning and the student experience.
About You:
- Hold a postgraduate degree in animal health sciences or a related topic
- Ideally, you will be near completion of a level 8 qualification or have equivalent professional standing in a relevant subject area.
- Highly motivated, self-reliant and enthusiastic and passionate about delivering the highest quality of teaching, learning and student experience to our animal health students.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and team working skills, along with the ability to manage your own time and work to deadlines.
- Hold a teaching qualification or be willing to complete a teaching development programme.
- Evidence of engagement with research and scholarly activity and a willingness to further develop and contribute to this area as a university academic.
